The 25th of the 29 children between the Belcourt brothers and Lavinier sisters. Her mother's name was the first half of the plant species name of Daboecia cantabrica, whose shape and colour inspired the dress she and her descendants would adopt in 1877. In turn, she would name her daughter with the second half. |
