- This is the documentation page for Template:Category. Editors are welcome to test this template in its dedicated sandbox.
{{Category}} is one of two templates used for links to category pages. Whereas {{Category|Documentation pages}} produces Documentation pages, {{cl}}'s {{cl|Documentation pages}} produces Category:Documentation pages (with namespace added). In their code, a colon (:) is placed before Category: to prevent the pages they are on from further categorisation.
